| AOUK Trauma Research Prize 2011 | |||

LOOKING for FUNDS to help pay for a Course or Fellowship travel costs? AOUK invite applications for an annual research prize of £1,000. The prize is open to doctors in training, non-career grades and operating room personnel involved in trauma care. Authors should submit a 200-word abstract of their research, which should involve any aspect of musculo-skeletal trauma, including hand, facio-maxillo-cranial and spine trauma. Three short-listed candidates will be invited to provide manuscripts of the paper by 1st October 2011 and then present the paper at the annual AOUK meeting in November. The prize will be awarded for originality, presentation and clinical application. The closing date for submissions is 30thSeptember 2011
