AOUK is the United
Kingdom section of the AO Foundation which has its headquarters
in Davos, Switzerland. AO stands for Arbeitsgemeinschaft für
Osteosythesefragen. Loosely translated, this means the Association
for the study of questions of surgical fracture fixation.
AOUK is administered on behalf of its membership by a Board
of Management. The governance and structure of AOUK are defined
by its Constitution. The Board has representatives from the Board
of Trustees of the AO Foundation, and from the Specialty Sections
of AOUK.
