2008 AGM
| This
year's Annual General Meeting of AOUK was part of the celebrations
of the First 50 years of AO
The meeting was held at the
Royal
York Hotel over the weekend of 15th-16th November
and was well attended by members and their families |

members

Guest speaker
Prof Geoff Richards from the AO Research Institute
Davos gave a lecture on the "Role of implant surfaces
in fracture fixation: the effect of polishing"

| The highlight
of the weekend was the banquet, held at Castle
Howard, the setting for Brideshead Revisited which provided
the theme for the occasion |
